This photo is of 3 Highland Caterans sneaking through a ruined cottage.
Caterans were scum and criminals that were recruited into William Wallaces guerilla campain against England during the Scottish Wars of Independence.
They would attack English garrisons, ransacking the place and then give a portion of their loot to fund the Scottish army. Making ammends for their crimes against Scotland.
They would then have hide in the woods from the English patrols looking for them.
You may notice they aren't wearing kilts. Kilts didn't come into Scotland until the 16th century. Braveheart is very historically incorrect.
